Getting Here & Driving Distances
Getting to Elora & Fergus is easy! Here are driving distances and basic instructions.
From the GTA:
The drive from Toronto to Elora or Fergus takes about 1 to 1.5 hours (approximately 110-130 km), depending on traffic and your starting point in the GTA.
Take Highway 401 West and follow signs to Guelph, then head north on Highway 6.
From Hamilton:
The drive from Hamilton is about 1 to 1.5 hours (approximately 80-90 km).
Take Highway 6 North towards Guelph, then continue towards Elora or Fergus.
From London:
Driving from London to Elora or Fergus takes about 1.5 to 2 hours (approximately 125-150 km).
Take Highway 401 East to Kitchener, then follow signs towards Highway 7 East and make your way to Elora or Fergus.
Parking in Elora
Parking is free in downtown Elora with a 3-hr time limit enforced 7 days a week between 9AM and 7PM. Please abide by all posted signage and remember to respect the driveways and sidewalks of our small town neighbours.
There are five municipal parking lots located in downtown Elora:
1 MacDonald Square at the Centre Wellington Civic Centre
23 Metcalfe Street (located immediately north of the Elora LCBO building)
25 Metcalfe Street (located south of the Elora LCBO building and excluding the 30-minute time restricted parking reserved for LCBO customers).
Charging stations available.Margaret Street – located west of the Civic Centre (1 MacDonald Square), beside Hoffer Park.
Geddes St. – located south of East Mill ST.
There is one paid parking lot available: Elora Mill Parking off Cty. Rd. 7
$3.00/hour, $20.00 daily maximum.
